Holiday Fair

Fairs and festivals abound at this time of year, but how many provide children’s crafts, performances, holiday activities, great food for all tastes, live music, and, of course, booths from some of the best artisans in New Hampshire? Find all this and more at Pine Hill’s Holiday Fair in Wilton, NH on Friday and Saturday, November 30 & December 1.
Talented vendors will display their wares, including everything from handmade jewelry, woolens, paintings, blown glass, and pottery. The school community also offers an opportunity for the students and families to sell their own creations, everything from hand dipped candles and hand knitted hats to homemade elderberry syrup.
“It is a festive family event” said Jen Kershaw, teacher at Pine Hill. “The whole school is literally transformed. There’s something for every member of the family, and nobody walks away empty-handed.”
The Fair begins on Friday, November 30, 6:30 - 9:30pm with an adult-only shopping evening. Meet with friends and enjoy a relaxed evening of live music and delicious desserts while shopping for unique, hand-crafted, holiday gifts.

Saturday, December 1 from 10 am - 4 pm brings children’s activities and entertainment as well as expanded food options into the mix. The whole school becomes a festive holiday village with another engaging activity or experience around each corner. Children are welcomed to choose a gift from the Pocket Lady/Wizard, see the Flying Gravity circus perform, watch a puppet show, walk through the magical Crystal Cave and meet the Crystal Fairy, win a cake at the Cake Walk, or make one of several children’s crafts. Three different food options are available: the delicious Lunch Café, a scrumptious Dessert Café, and a Waffle station. And, of course, there’s always more shopping, even for the little ones with items priced especially for them.

“This is one of the highlights of our whole year,” Heather Carver, Director of Alumni and Community Relations said. “Everybody gets involved, and it’s always beautiful. We’re thrilled to be able to provide this magical event for the community.”

Admission is free, though some activities and food require tickets. You can find more information as well as directions at
