High Mowing School is thrilled to welcome activist, soccer professional, two-time cancer survivor, and CBS’ reality-show SURVIVOR winner Ethan Zohn to our community as he works with high school soccer players and, on October 26, offers a keynote address that’s open to the public.
Ethan has used his journey and considerable platform to connect with others – young adults in particular – and offer much-needed inspiration, advice, and comfort.
When Ethan engages with youths and audiences, he delivers deeply felt, meaningful lessons on character, kindness, personal strength, and giving back. With his remarkable combination of humor and honesty, Ethan offers keynotes that inspire others to answer life’s opportunities with strength and the conviction to never let a crisis to go to waste.
By sharing his story, Ethan inspires countless others around the globe. His message emphasizes character, resiliency, service, kindness and turning challenges into strengths.

Soccer at High Mowing School
This year, Ethan Zohn will serve as the goalie coach for our high school varsity soccer teams, part of the new international Black Rock Football Club Residential Academy at High Mowing School, providing high-level student-athletes a residential soccer program coupled with a premier high school education.
High Mowing School collaborates with the Black Rock Football Club to offer an elite level soccer option for players of all backgrounds. Under the leadership of head soccer coach Scott Miller and the guidance of coaches Colin Griggs, Cleyon Brown, Komar Martinez-PaizDanny Lockhart, and Ethan Zohn, High Mowing School offers high-level soccer training for boys and girls in grades 9 through 12.
