Eurythmy Teacher for K-5 and Curative Eurythmy

About the Position
High Mowing School is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic teacher of Pedagogical & Curative Eurythmy teacher for Kindergarten –Grade 5 for the 2019-20 school year and beyond. A key member of our faculty, s/he is passionate about the place of Eurythmy in the classroom and its potential for the healthy development of children. S/he seeks an established school with a pioneering spirit, is interested in co-creating a program that serves today’s children, and keen on becoming a member of a strong pedagogical team for children in need of therapeutic support.

About HMS
High Mowing School is home to about 225 students in Preschool-grade 12, with about 115 students in the lower school and 110 high school boarding and day students. Our preferred candidate is an enthusiastic, trained Eurythmy teacher with a keen interest in therapeutic eurythmy who seeks to utilize their art to serve children. Dynamic and actively engaged, s/he wishes to contribute to a lively community of faculty, staff, and students. S/he seeks a challenging yet supportive, school environment where s/he can grow professionally and personally.
  • Graduate degree
  • Trained in pedagogical eurythmy
  • Trained, or in trained for therapeutic eurythmy
The compensation for the position includes:   
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, life, LTD
  • Up to 4% contribution to 403(b) retirement
