Local Bus Routes

We now offer daily HMS bus service from selected areas to High Mowing School.
  • East Route: Runs from Manchester/Bedford/Nashua/Amherst to both HMS campuses
  • West Route: Runs from Keene through Marlborough and Peterborough to both HMS campuses
  • South Route in northern Massachusetts in the Groton and Townsend areas is planned for 2019-20.

Details
Families can register for regular service, or as needed (space allowing) for a modest fee. Students on the Pine Hill K-8 campus are welcome to attend After School Care at no cost from 3:15 pm dismissal through time of bus departure 4:00 pm. High school students who attend afternoon activities past 4:00 pm must find alternative transportation.

Founded in 1972, Pine Hill merged with High Mowing School in 2017 to create a coeducational, non-denominational, accredited Waldorf school serving students from early childhood through Grade 12. High Mowing School is accredited by NEASC and AWSNA (high school current, lower school in process).
