Wish List Applications Due

The Parent Council extends a heart-felt thank you to all of our community members who participate and support fundraising at Pine Hill. As with most independent schools, fundraising efforts are vital to the fiscal health of each community. As a result, Parent Council raised $41,164.00 for our school during this past academic year. These funds are divided with one-half ($20,582) being applied to the school's operating budget and the remaining half split equally to support tuition aid ($10,291) and the Wish List ($10,291).

All members of the Pine Hill community are invited to submit a Wish List suggestion for consideration. These wishes are then reviewed by a committee consisting of key lead volunteers -- Holiday Fair Chair(s), Auction Chair(s), Parent Council Chair, and the Class Coordinator Coordinator -- as well as Lorey Johnson and Mary McDonough representing the teachers and administration.  

Applications may be submitted in the wishing well located in the front lobby. Wish submissions will be accepted until Monday, June 10 at 9 am. Applicants will be notified if their Wish has been granted by Friday, June 14.

Some past wishes that have been granted include funds to support teacher professional development, music and tutoring scholarships, chairs for the auditorium, science books, and swings for the lower field. And that is just to name a few! Be creative or practical! And hopefully, your wish will come true!
