Parent-Child Group Now Enrolling
The Children's Garden program serves children ages birth to three years. It meets once a week and is led by teachers who bring a wealth of warmth and experience to this program.
Parents always want to know what's normal, what's healthy, and what's to be expected. Our Children's Garden program helps parents understand the infant's developmental stages. We provide a safe and beautiful environment where infants can explore the world. Each child can play and interact with other infants. Parents have time to observe, share, ask questions, support one another and receive support.
For toddlers, the Children's Garden program offers a sanctuary of safe play for children and an oasis of peace and friendship for parents. The children move freely in simple group activities. They have opportunities to experience puppetry and storytelling while their parents are nearby, making toys or crafts and learning about parenting the young child. Parents value the opportunity to meet other parents with similar questions and ideas.
Classes meet once a week on Tuesdays or Thursdays for 15 weeks or on Fridays for 6 weeks:
Tuesdays, 12:30-2:00 p.m., beginning January 10
Thursdays, 8:30-10:00 a.m., beginning January 12
Friday Drop-in Class, 9:00-10:30 a.m., beginning January 13
