Speech in Waldorf Schools: Evening with Kim Snyder-Vine

If you've ever listened to a Waldorf teacher during main lesson, you'll know that careful speech is an important part of the Waldorf curriculum. Kim Snyder-Vine, a Waldorf-trained speech expert, is spending a week at Pine Hill this fall. She will be spending time with the faculty as part of our professional development, and she is offering an evening event for parents and anyone interested in learning more about speech in the Waldorf schools. This is an event not to be missed!

Michaelmas 2015

Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 9 a.m.

Pine Hill's annual Michaelmas Pageant is held outside on the upper field, beneath the balcony. This autumnal festival is an opportunity to experess our gratitude and connection with all of life. Saint Michael calls upon us to support one another in courageous actions for the benefit of our community and the earth. Similarly, as the trees begin to shed their leaves, we, too, can begin to shed those habits that no longer serve us.
