Gala: A Masquerade Ball
Pine Hill's largest annual fundraising event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on April 13 at High Mowing School. At this year’s Gala: A Masquerade Ball you can look forward to big circles of waltzing couples in full skirts and men's tail-coats flying, accompanied by concert pianist Crystal Junkins (mother of George, K and Johann, 1). Surrounded by sparkles and bubbly, mysterious Venetian and feather masks, guests will enjoy an elegant meal prepared by Michael Zielie (father of Gabrielle, K; Isabella, 5 and Brooklyn, 8) and end the evening with delectable sweet treats. Vouli Anthimidou, dancer, teacher and owner of Vouli Dance and Yoga in Amherst, will teach us ballroom dance. There will be entertainment and games during the silent auction and Great Gathering sign-ups, followed by a selection of live auction items with auctioneers Bruce Darby (Isabel, 8 and 2nd grade teacher) and Donna Crane (Isadora, 2 and Anna, 6).
Your Participation Makes a Difference
Auction proceeds and the profit from ticket sales fund all aspects of the educational and community events at Pine Hill. These funds serve the children, parents, faculty, and staff within our community, covering operating expenses such as classroom activities, music, remedial work, faculty professional development and student scholarships for the current fiscal year.
This is a fun event and a wonderful opportunity to socialize with the entire community. Meet parents from other grades, alumni parents and friends of Pine Hill and mingle more informally with the faculty and staff. We hope you can join us for this joyous evening full of great food and dancing! Tell your family and friends. All are welcome. Remember, the higher the attendance, the greater the support for Pine Hill!
Auction sponsorships are available for families and businesses. Choose from four levels of sponsorship and receive an ad in the Auction Catalog and a mention on our website.
