Auction 2012 - Viva Espana!
Pine Hill's largest annual fundraising event "¡Viva España!" will be held on April 21 at High Mowing. Tapas, sangria, Spanish wines, cheeses, and three different paellas will be served! Jorge Arrunategui, master chef and father of Magenta (7th grade) and Cyan (Rose Kindergarten) will be giving a paella cooking demonstration. Charles Baroody, Pine Hill's guitar teacher, who trained in Spain for many years, will play flamenco and classical Spanish guitar. Sabrina Avile, an amazing flamenco dancer and teacher from Boston will give a dance performance and teach us meringue and salsa. There will be entertainment and games during the live auction, silent auction, and great gathering offerings.
This is a wonderful opportunity to socialize with the entire school community, meet parents from other grades and mingle more informally with the faculty and staff. We hope you can join us for this fun evening full of great food and dancing! Tell your family and friends. All are welcome. Remember, the higher the attendance, the more help for Pine Hill!
Tickets are on sale in the foyer and online ($65 single/ $120 couple). Pick yours up today!
Where auction proceeds can go
Auction proceeds and the profit from ticket sales fund all aspects of the educational and community events at Pine Hill. These funds serve the children, parents, faculty, and staff within our community, covering operating expenses such as classroom activities, music, remedial work, professional development for faculty, supplies for the Monday parent coffees, books for incoming families, and scholarships for students.
