After School Programs
After school programs are offered for an hourly fee on regular school days. Registration for all programs can be found on the Parent Corner page in the Programs section.
Pine Hill AfterCare Programs
Early Childhood Full Day program. Early Childhood students may extend their day to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The afternoon program follows the same philosophy as the morning program, but recognizes the different energies and rhythms of that time of day for young children.
Grades AfterCare. Pine Hill's after care program serves the families of our school community with a home-like environment for children in 1st through 8th grade. The program runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:50 to 5:30 p.m. Included in the afternoon are outdoor play, snack, games, simple crafting, and stories.
A Childs Nature at Pine Hill
Children who stay after the Full Day Early Childhood program can enroll in A Child’s Nature, the daycare program on campus, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Please note that this is a independent program and requires separate registration papers and fees.
Hummingbird Farm (629 Abbott Hill Road) hosts a Thursday afternoon program at their home from 1:30-4:30 pm for students ages 4-12. Each day is designed to provide a balance of focused activity and the relaxed ease of the afternoon hours. Transportation from Pine Hill is available for an additional fee for a limited number of children. To register, email: hummingbirdfarm@hotmail.
The Wild Ways Program at Pine Hill
Dan McElreavy offers a daily after school naturalist program for students in grades 1 – 8 for Pine Hill and other local children. This program is independently run on the Pine Hill campus. Contact "Mr. Mac" at 603-325-8762 with questions or to register.
Basketball and Ski Programs
Pine Hill offers basketball teams for Pine Hill students in grades 5-8 during the winter season. Teams compete with local schools with similar programs.
The Ski Program at Crotched Mountain runs for 5 weeks during January and February on Thursday afternoons. Discounted tickets for lessons and family ski passes are available. Transportation is generally provided from the school to the slope for students in grades 4 through 8.
