Early childhood teachers
Yifat Leibner (2015 to present) - Nursery Teacher
Yifat was born and grew up on a Kibbutz in Israel. After two years of National Service, she studied Special Education and received her B.Ed from the University of Tel Aviv. She became interested in Waldorf Education through her elder brothers and came to Sunbridge College where she completed Foundation Studies and the Early Childhood Program. She is also a Graduate of The Spacial Dynamics Program. After moving to Princeton, NJ with her family, Yifat worked both within the Waldorf school setting and out of her home, where she ran both Nursery and Parent Child Programs for over a decade.
Jane McCoy (2016 to present) – Kindergarten Teacher, Early Childhood Chair
Jane joins Pine Hill after teaching for over 25 years in California. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Education from Plymouth State College, Jane moved to San Diego where she taught Kindergarten and combination K/1 classes, and received a Master's degree in Curriculum and Design. Jane was a Class teacher at two Waldorf-methods charter schools (one in San Diego, one in Marin County) before opening up her own Playgarden - a Waldorf/LifeWays preschool and Kindergarten program - from her home. She did her Waldorf teacher training at the Rudolph Steiner College and received her LifeWays certification in 2010. In addition to operating Playgarden for ten years, Jane has led Parent/Toddler classes and has been a teacher with the California Coast LifeWays training program. Jane enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time with her husband, son and stepdaughter.
